The minute ActivTrak can't see
ActivTrak measures AI adoption: which tools, how often, sanctioned or not. But its productivity scoring runs on app usage and input activity, and quiet minutes only count as passive productive time until the account's passive cutoff, a few minutes in ActivTrak's own documentation. Past that, the time stops counting at all. So a long agent run is credited briefly and then vanishes, and even the credited part carries no label saying an agent did the work. Tockly resolves that with a per-minute human versus agent split.

It measures AI adoption: which tools people use, how often, whether they are sanctioned, and how usage trends. That is governance data. It does not classify work minutes. ActivTrak cannot say whether a given minute was the human working or an agent working under supervision. Its scoring does credit quiet minutes as passive productive time, but only until the account's passive cutoff, after which a long agent run stops counting at all. Tockly's per-minute classification is sourced from the agent's activity itself, and it credits the whole run.
